First, gently remove your existing showerhead from the shower hose. It’ll be attached with a standard thread, so you’ll need to turn it anticlockwise.

The shower hose has a threaded end, which should have a washer inside (pictured). If there isn’t a washer, you’ll find a replacement below the filters in your ULA box.

You can install the replacement washer by simply pushing it into place, so when you screw your ULA showerhead on, the washer will compress and create a watertight seal.

Next, it’s time to screw your ULA showerhead onto the hose. To do this, thread it on and turn it in a clockwise direction. Don’t over tighten, hand-tighten only. If parts are wet, a towel will help.

Please note: In this position there is no water passing though the capsule. Only filtered water is coming from your ULA showerhead.

This setting filters the water and mixes it with the nourishing vitamins from your chosen capsule.

Never leave the switch in the middle as this may damage the shower head and cause a water leak.

To keep your shower head clean and fresh, you should replace the filter every
month (based on average use).

The filter sits inside the stem of the showerhead. To install a water filter, first you need to twist the base of the handle in an anticlockwise motion off the bottom.

Next, take the filter and note which side has a rubber gasket around it. This is the end that goes into the shower head first, with the hole end pointing down to the shower hose.

Now reattach the base of the shower head by threading it on and turning it in a clockwise direction.

Push the shower head switch down for the misted capsule spray.

Using the tool provided, pierce the raised valve on the capsule, which will then allow water to pass thought it.

Please note: You cannot open the capsule too much, so make sure it’s fully pierced.

Now twist the back off the showerhead in an anticlockwise direction. The back of the showerhead is translucent, so you can see what capsule you have installed.

Place the capsule inside the showerhead with the valve facing down. Make sure the valve slots into the bottom hole on the back of the showerhead

Then simply twist the back onto the showerhead in a clockwise direction
