Liquorice Extract
This antioxidant helps reduce pigmentation and even out your skin tone, by stopping the melanin-producing enzyme, tyrosinase.

Niacinamide

    Pierce Valve

    Using the pin provided fully pierce the capsule valve.

  2. Step 02

    Cap Off

    Unscrew the cap and place the capsule in, lining the valve up with one of the holes.

  3. Step 03

    Cap On

    Screw the cap back on – and go grab your towel.

  4. Step 04

    ULA Showerhead

    Next, it’s time to screw your ULA shower head onto the hose. To do this, thread it on and turn it in a clockwise direction. Don’t over tighten, hand-tighten only. If parts are wet, a towel will help.

  5. Step 05

    Infuse Goodness

    Push the showerhead switch down for the
    misted capsule spray.

  6. Step 06

    Your shower, your way

    You can use your beauty capsule on your hair and skin, and combine with other products. Or, enjoy your filtered shower and finish off with a mist for a beauty boost before towelling off. You decide!

Do I need to use a beauty capsule?

Showering with the ULA system will transform your hair and skin from day one. However, our range of beauty capsules are bursting with skin-and-hair-loving ingredients, from vitamin C to argan oil and are ideal for supercharging your routine. So while you don’t need one, it’s definitely a level up.

How long does a beauty capsule last?

A beauty capsule lasts a month based on an average household use. We’ll send you a reminder when it’s time to stock up, so you never miss a moment of nourishment. Your capsule will stay fresh, if unopened, for three years but please use within one month once opened.

What beauty capsules do you offer?

Soon we’ll have a beauty capsule for almost every hair and skin need. While we busy ourselves with that, here’s what’s available now:

Skin Glow

Who: Those with an uneven or dull complexion.

Why: To brighten skin and look more radiant.

What: Vitamin C, liquorice extract and niacinamide.

How: Reduces dark spots and evens out tone.

How do I add a beauty capsule?

To add a capsule:

  1. Using the tool provided, pierce the raised
    valve on the capsule, which will then allow water to pass thought it. Please note: You cannot open the capsule too much, so make sure it’s fully pierced.
  2. Now twist the back off the shower head in an anticlockwise direction. The back of the shower head is translucent, so you can see what capsule you have installed.
  3. Place the capsule inside the shower head with the valve facing down. Make sure the valve slots into the bottom hole on the
    back of the shower head.
  4. Then simply twist the back onto the shower head in a clockwise direction.

Can I turn the misted capsule spray off?

We get it, you don’t want everyone in the house using your beauty capsule.

That’s why we’ve made it super easy to switch from the misted capsule spray to the classic filtered spray. All you need to do is:

  • Push the switch up for the classic filtered spray.
  • Push the switch down for the misted capsule spray.

One last thing: Don’t leave the switch in the middle as it could damage the showerhead.

Are ULA capsules tested on animals?

Absolutely not. We’ve never tested on animals and we never will. Our products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free.

Can I recycle my filter?

The nature of the filter means is cannot be recycled via domestic waste services at this time.

However, ULA operates as a carbon neutral company and the packaging your showerhead, filter and beauty capsules come in is recyclable.

Are ULA capsules safe in pregnancy?

Yes, our beauty capsules are safe if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding. Our formula is 100% vegan and dermatologist-approved, while being free from silicones, fragrances, parabens, sulphates and phthalates.

We recommend a patch test just to make sure there are no allergies. 

Can I use ULA capsules on both my hair and skin?

You can!

But you know your own hair and skin best. While some may want to benefit from using their capsule for the entirety of their shower, others will want to enjoy the filtered water and then switch to mist mode for a last-minute beauty boost before towelling off.
